Using the beautiful Mac OS X desktop as an inspiration, we built Teacher Studio to not only be easy to use - but also to be beautiful and pleasing to your eyes. Apple has a good eye for beautiful designs in their products, and we just couldn't help ourselves but to follow in their footsteps.

Where do we begin? We leveraged the power of Mac OS X to make using Teacher Studio a breeze. You want to be able to drag and drop files or pictures into Teacher Studio? No problem. You want to be able to quickly view your documents without having to open them up? Got you covered there too.
When you set up your students, you select which class(es) that student belongs to. From that point on, every homework, test or quiz you create, a new Grade Sheet will be created and Teacher Studio will automatically add that student to that particular Grade Sheet.
Bottom line: simplicity = great power.We strongly recommend you download a demo version of Teacher Studio and try it out for 30 days before making your purchase decision.
If you downloaded a demo and decide to buy using the Mac App Store, make sure you drag the demo version to the trash before making your purchase. If you don't delete the demo version, the Mac App Store may show that you already have Teacher Studio installed and will not allow you to make your purchase.
Where should you buy your copy of Teacher Studio?
Which ever option you choose, it is important to know that the Mac App Store (MAS) version and the version on our website are identical in functionality. The only differences between the two versions are as follows:
From Lomation:
- A serial number is required
- Will run on both Intel and PowerPC based Macs
- Not restricted to MAS authorized computers only
- Automatic update when update becomes available
From Mac App Store:
- A serial number is not required
- Will not run on PowerPC-based Macs
- Will not run on unauthorized computers (will need to be authorized via MAS)
- Apple may take 2-4+ weeks to process and approve updates
